Yass Antique Motor Club Inc.

The Yass Antique Motor Club caters for owners of vehicles that are at least thirty years old, and has a membership of almost 100 people, with a total of well over 100 vehicles. One of the great things about the club is the very diverse range of vehicles, from the 1920’s to the mid 1980’s, and includes motor cycles, saloon and sports cars, commercial vehicles and historic racing cars.

Club runs are organised by our members to various attractions around our area and many members travel to meet up with other events all over the country. The club meets at the CWA Rooms in Banjo Paterson Park, on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm.

The club publishes a bimonthly magazine to keep members informed of upcoming events promoted by our club and other car clubs in the area. It also includes advertisements for cars and parts for sale and wanted, as well as interesting classic motoring and club related articles.

The Yass Antique Motor Club was officially established in 1979. An initial meeting of people who were interested in establishing a Vintage Car Club in Yass was held at the Tourist office during 1978, and a hand full of those original enthusiasts are still members of the club today.
